Parent Faculty AssociationThe Parent Faculty Association (PFA) includes all parents of children enrolled at Catlin Gabel School and all members of the faculty. Its purpose is to facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and administration, to encourage parent involvement in School activities, and to work cooperatively with faculty and staff to strengthen the Catlin Gabel community. The PFA Council meets on the third Thursday of each month in open meetings where all parents and faculty are invited. A complete listing of all members of the PFA Council, including representatives for each grade, is included separately in the School Handbook•Directory . PFA representatives welcome questions and are in a position to assist parents and teachers. Contact the volunteer coordinator or president to volunteer. The PFA's Dialogue newsletter, published fall, winter, and spring, provides a thoughtful and sometimes zesty look at the school, on subjects ranging from academics to parenting issues to extracurricular activities to technology. Contributors include parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and students. Student illustrations are also featured. To contribute to the Dialogue contact parent Kim Carlson.
